What Kind of Carriage Reporting Does TRAC Media Services Offer?

Our Carriage Service tracks public television stations’ (PTV) schedules 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. With this data, producers, stations and distributors alike can analyze each and every broadcast of their program(s). Whether you leverage this information as proof of performance for grantors, underwriters or other supporters, or are using past titles to secure funding for future productions, our Carriage Service can assist you in making the case for production support. The Carriage Service has been found useful for producers, local and national underwriting solicitations, as well as station relations professionals.

TRAC’s Carriage Service includes program carriage information for all 1100+ public television broadcast and digital channels. Reporting using our Carriage Service includes the percent-coverage of US television household as well as the airdates and times stations broadcast the program. Carriage information is updated every night from TiVo (formerly ROVI/TV Guide).

The Carriage Service subscription includes online access to graphical summary reports; as well as reporting of stations that did not air a program, and those that either scheduled or dropped a specific program. The service also includes access to station-specific daily and/or weekly schedules. For programs with episodes being reported to TiVo, you can also run episode specific reports.
